“Sorbet Skies” isn’t a typical landscape, it’s full of bright colours and dancing clouds which look good enough to eat. It offers an exuberance of colour and movement. The florescent colours help add some joy and fun as well as draw the viewer in to take a closer look. This piece is about trying new things, experimenting and having fun – that’s how an artist grows and creative breakthroughs happen. It’s also about returning to the innocence and pureness of childhood – where there are no set rules in art or opinions that stop us from doing whatever we want.
