I took my parents for a drive to Buntzen Lake and brought my painting with us. Although it wasn’t easy to photograph on the sand and in the cold, it was fun to see it in the setting that inspired it. I’m always amazed at the grandeur of this little slice of paradise that I live close to. The light and clouds and atmosphere changes constantly, and provides great interest to me.
